How to Install Easy Bio for ESSL x990 & K30 devices ? Install easy bio for ZKTeco, ESSL and Identix Machines (TFT) ?

EASY BIO Installation Procedure

Applicable for ZKTeco, ESSL and Identix Machines (TFT)

Take client on aydesk 

Below given steps are used for installation –

• Get the IP Address ^[1] of the machine from the client. Go to menu > Comm > Ethernet > IP (Client will tell IP). DHCP should be off.

• Open command prompt by pressing Ctrl+R and entering CMD.
• Use the command – “ping  {IP Address}”. For example, ping  192.168.1.201.
• If the output comes out something mentioned below, then continue with step 5, else continue with [2] for troubleshooting.
• Download and Install JDK 17 on the computer (Note: if the computer is using Windows 7 (32 bit), then download JDK - jre-8u211-windows-i586)

• Copy the biometric.zip file to Local Disk C and extract files.
• Now, open the folder and type CMD on the file path and hit enter.
• Now, command prompt should open. Type “java -jar EasybioReloaded.jar” and hit enter.
• Now enter the details below “Software Settings” as provided by the developer.

If the Gym Software is blue in color, select multi branch software. Note, if the branch is 0, then multi branch option should not be selected. Then click on Save button. Note: functions being performed by the software can be viewed in the command prompt window.

• Wait until a popup for “Details Updated” appears.
• Now open the folder in the File Explorer and open the 64bit folder if the OS is 64bit else open the 32 bit folder. Register DLL by right click on "Automatic Register SDK" and click on "Run as administrator"
• Now, go to Easybio Settings tab of the software and enter anything in the device name, the IP Address and ‘4370’ as Port Number.
• Now click on GET button. If serial number is filled automatically, click on Save Device Button and if an error popup appears, the device is not compatible.
• If the device is successfully saved, repeat steps 7, 8 and 9 and wait till customer’s logo appear on the software.
• Create a desktop shortcut for the customer by right clicking on the application and selecting Send Files -> Desktop (Create Shortcut).

Additional Information

[1] The IP Address can be obtained from the biometric machine using the following steps –

• Open the menu of the machine.
• Select Comm option from the menu (Sometimes it may be listed as Network)
• Select Ethernet/ Eth option
• IP Address will be listed as the first option.

[2] Troubleshooting for IP Address

• Follow all steps mentioned in [1].
• Turn on the DHCP mode.
• If the IP address becomes 0.0.0.0, then some physical issue is present. This may include LAN cable not connected properly, Biometric directly connected to computer etc. These issues may be solved by the biometric vendor.
• If the IP address becomes something other than 0.0.0.0, then note that IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway. Turn off the DHCP mode and alter the originalIP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway with the noted values.
